KS131 Deep-Groove Sensor for Surface Roughness Testing
Reach a surface finish inside a groove or below a step where a standard probe may not sit correctly. The KS131 is a specialty sensor for roughness measurement in deeper features, and can also be used on flat surfaces or along a cylindrical axis with a suitable setup.
Check your workpiece before ordering
- Grooves: the original fit guidance specifies a width greater than 3 mm and a depth less than 10 mm.
- Steps: listed for steps less than 10 mm high.
- Other surfaces: flat and cylindrical surfaces measured along the axis, subject to probe positioning and clearance.
- Support: use with a KA520 or KA620 measuring stage or another suitable height-adjustable support, as described in the original listing.
