Check the thickness of a pipe, casting or fabricated component without cutting into it. The KT330 pairs a compact metal housing with a backlit display and USB data port, so you can take readings at the workpiece and keep measurement records for later review. It is intended for materials that conduct ultrasound, including metals, plastics, ceramics, glass and fiberglass.

Ready for everyday thickness checks

• Use the included probe: the standard No5 probe has a listed measuring range of 1.2–230 mm. The gauge's broader 0.75–300 mm range depends on using a suitable probe.
• Calibrate for your material: probe-zero and two-point calibration, plus sound-velocity measurement when a sample's thickness is known.
• Check contact at a glance: coupling-status alert helps identify when the probe is not properly coupled to the surface.
• Keep results organized: store five files of 100 readings each and five sound-velocity values; transfer data through the USB port.
• Work in lower light: LED backlight, battery indicator, automatic sleep and power-off.
